Lockouts, rekeys, new locks, car keys and break-in repairs on the South Shore. $25 service call, fair price quoted first, warranty on labour and parts.

What we see on the South Shore

The South Shore is where new construction meets the river, and new construction means builder-grade locks: the same Weiser or Kwikset cylinders on every house of a Brossard or Candiac street, keyed by a contractor who may still hold a construction key. The first job on a new house should be a rekey, and most owners never do it. Older Longueuil and Saint-Lambert are the opposite, with heavy 1950s doors and mortise locks worth keeping. Brossard's newer condo towers bring fob and access-control calls, and the DIX30 area brings storefront and office work. The bridge is the variable here, not the lock, so we check live traffic on the Champlain, the Jacques-Cartier and the tunnel before dispatching and send the van that gets there first.

Most common jobs here

  • Rekeying new-build houses off the contractor key
  • Condo tower fob and unit-lock service
  • Mortise lock service on 1950s Longueuil and Saint-Lambert doors
  • Storefront and office locks around DIX30
